NY’S FINEST: BRENDON BABENZIEN’S NOAH IS A BRAND YOU NEED TO BE UP ON
Ever wish you could find a streetwear brand that had a more stately air to it? Something that possessed that undeniable street flair, but with an added touch of class so you could dress it up if you needed to? That brand is Noah, an NYC-based outfit headed up by Supreme’s former creative director, Brendon Babenzien.
A quick backstory on the brand (and Brendon Babenzien) for those of you who might not be familiar: he originally started the brand in the early 00’s after designing for Supreme in the 90’s. He left the brand to go back to Supreme as the creative director in 2006, where he oversaw their rise into a true cultural juggernaut … but in his own words became “antsy” and left in 2015 (on good terms) to re-start Noah.
What he learned during his tenure at Supreme is evident, as Noah easily balances skate-wear with Long-Island style prep. Want a dope graphic tee? Noah’s got you covered. Want an expensive, stately sweater? They’ve got those too. In Babenzien’s own words, the brand is “like a teenager’s bedroom. It’s all over the place, but it makes sense”.
Here at Piff, we’re big fans of Noah’s aesthetic and clothes, and we’re happy to say that we’ve got a limited stock of long-sleeve and short sleeve tees that came through the store this week. Come through the store and get down with NY’s finest … or if you’d rather cop online, click here or check out some of the tees we’ve got below (you can click on them to go to their product page too if you’d like).
